Nigel Vardy (otherwise known as “Mr Frostbite”) is a record-breaking mountaineer, speaker and author. In 1999, he suffered severe frostbite climbing on Denali in Alaska. After three years recovering, Nigel has taken part in over twenty cross-world expeditions, set British records, and written two books.
Nigel will give a talk about his adventures and there will be a expedition presentation from a Duke of Edinburgh Team.
There will also be stands from West Yorkshire Scouts’ County Climbing and Watersports Teams together with a bar and raffle.
Tickets are £3 (entry only) or £6 (including pie and pea supper). All funds raised will go towards the Mountain Heritage Trust.
