These Italian-made boots are as functional, well-designed and wellmade as the other semi-stiff boots. However they are more expensive and I can’t see anything to justify the price. Of course if they fit you perfectly the extra cost would be worth it. On me they are just wide enough at the toes and snug around the ankles. There are the standard features for this type of boot – a wide rand, though this doesn’t go all the way round the heel; hard toe and heel; good cushioning and good grip. There’s no noticeable rocker in the sole, which does make walking in them a little more awkward than in the other semi-stiff boots. Again they are most suited to wintry conditions.
