TGO take a first look at an updated 3 season favourite that balances environmental wins with enhanced performance: the Nemo Dragonfly OSMO 2p tent.

New for 2026, Nemo have updated the already successful Dragonfly series with what look to be some useful changes. Interior clearance and porch space was already great, but a new shaped crossbar for the updated Nemo Dragonfly OSMO 2p tent increases both door height and headroom by 34% while also improving stability.

We’re pleased to see the fly fully extend to the floor at the head of the tent on this iteration, but there’s also a new ‘landing zone’ for keep your pack or other valuables off the ground, which can be fitted to either porch. These changes should improve poor weather performance – although to be fair we thought it was pretty good the first time around when fully guyed out. The brand has redesigned the pole system too, retaining the nifty ball and socket connectors at each corner while raising the roof inside to the hub itself. The poles are now recycled aluminum.

Thankfully, Nemo have kept everything we liked about the original. The bathtub floor and higher hydrostatic head are still here on version 2, and the asymmetric porches keep their extra peg point, meaning gear can be tucked well out of the way. The huge amount of internal storage remains in place, too.

The OSMO fabric is still more stretch resistant and hydrophobic than silnylon and is still 100% recycled and PFAS free, but is now bluesign approved and solution-dyed, making for less impact while retaining performance at light weight – the 2p weighs in at 1.49kg, packed.

The original Dragonfly 2p had lots of useful features with a modest footprint, but the changes in the 2026 version stand to make it more British weather ready and an even greener choice for camping.
