About

Nadia Shaikh is an ornithologist, land justice campaigner – and author of our wildlife column, On The Lookout. She is the co-director of the Right to Roam Campaign, where she advocates for the right for people to access land as a key step needed for caring for nature. She lives on the Isle of Bute in Scotland. Here, she has the right to wander where curiosity takes her and sleep under the stars.
