This Mammut hiking shirt is appealingly basic and light, says Daniel Neilson
This is easily the most basic shirt here, but it is extremely light and packable. It’s also the only short-sleeved shirt in the test. It is made from a polyamide/polyester blend which feels silky and is very comfortable. It has a sun protection value of 30+ and also an antimicrobial treatment to stop it smelling too much.
