As part of a new drive to increase their relevance to UK customers, Mammut have launched a new web shop
Mammut have invested heavily in making themselves more visible lately. You may have seen @mammut active on Twitter, tweeting plenty of interesting outdoor and mountain-related content as well as promotional tweets, and now they are extending that new focus to their website as a direct result of customer feedback.
uk.mammut.com has been updated with a fresh new layout to allow easier navigation and better presentation of the product range. Mammut say it has been “optimised for sharing images, stories and video content as part of building ongoing dialogue with Mammut fans old and new”. Translation? The site has had a lick of paint, and it’s looking good.
It’s now possible for UK customers to purchase Mammut products directly online (something customers in other markets have been able to do for quite some time). Products will be sold at RRP and the UK team will be able to manage the range shown online, providing direct feedback to Mammut’s retail customers to adjust ranges in store.
Neil Bradley, Managing Director at Mammut UK, says: “Wholesale business will remain by far the largest part of our business. As our own online channel continues to evolve, we will introduce more creative support to our retail partners’ marketing and product launches in order to encourage consumers to visit stores and enjoy using Mammut products.”
