About
Anna Richards is an award-winning travel and adventure writer who has been living in Lyon, France since 2021, drawn by its proximity to the mountains. She’s hiked long-distance trails all over the world, including the Armenian Transcaucasian Trail and Corsica’s GR20, but as she’s naturally cold-blooded, a survival course in the Swiss Jura (see page 66) was a challenge. She’s happiest when under canvas, often accompanied by her two large, badly behaved dogs. Anna is the author of Bradt Guides’ Paddling France.
