This new jacket features insulation embedded with ‘active particles’ said to increase moisture transmission plus a lightly coated slightly crackly outer that’s more water-resistant but less breathable than other outer fabrics. There’s thicker fill in the body than the arms and hood. The jacket is comfortable and has a good adjustable hood and roomy pockets. Weight and price are low. Sizing is on the small side.
