The Zamberlan Route GTX is the heaviest boot tested and another stiff leather boot most suited to cold and snowy conditions. The fit is on the narrow side – I can just wear them with thin socks. Cushioning and grip are good. The leather upper isn’t one piece and there are quite a few seams. However the price is lower than similar boots.
