The British brand shows-off an updated range and reveals a brand new backpack at OutDoor 2015 in Friedrichshafen

OutDoor 2015 in Friedrichshafen, Germany, sees hundreds of brands showcasing their new products and innovations for 2016. Among them was Lowe Alpine which revealed an updated Eclipse range and a brand new model – the Manaslu Axiom 5 backpack.

For the Eclipse – a range designed to provide options for a number of pursuits – it’s had a complete overhaul, most notably with the addition of a length adjustable, moulded mesh back that has an increased cut-out space for extra breathability. Other features of the new design are an Adaptive Fit Harness and a zip entry system that runs right down the length of the bag.

The Manaslu Axiom 5 backpack (pictured above) isn’t an updated model but a brand new offering. The main focus is its back system that’s designed to fit any back size and that’s also adjustable on-the-go via a single pull cord near the hipbelt. The hipbelt itself it interchangeable and comes in a number of sizes. It’s 55 litres in size with the potential to hold an extra 10 thanks to an extendable lid. There’s also mid-entry to the main compartment.

Keep an eye out for our full testing of these bags!
