Lauris has been accompanying her family on hillwalking adventures since she was a few months old. She has scrambled up Tryfan, backpacked in Dartmoor, explored high passes in the Pyrenees and the Alps, and walked the 100-mile-long South Downs Way in 10 days. She's also a keen wild swimmer, who's game for a dip in even the iciest tarns and rivers.
